How to get there?

 


Aigen im Ennstal

Aigen is a picturesque Styrian village at the foot of the mighty Grimming in the uppermost north of the federal province. It is situated on the Putterersee lake, Styria's warmest Alpine moor lake.

By car


coming from Frankfurt/Nürnberg/Regensburg/Passau: Use the A3 direction Austrian border. At the Austrian border (don´t forget to pay the toll (Vignette)!) use the A8 towards "Knoten Wels". Change to A9 direction Graz. Leave the A9 at Liezen onto B320/E651 direction Salzburg. Turn left in Wörschach towards Ketten and follow the signs "Aigen".


coming from Munich: Use the A8 direction Salzburg. At the Austrian border use the A1 direction "Knoten Salzburg" (don´t forget to pay the toll (Vignette)!). At "Knoten Salzburg" change to A10 direction Villach/Graz. Leave the A10 at "Ennstal" onto B320/E651 direction Schladming/Graz. Follow B320/E651 for 60 kilometers. Turn right at Trautenfels onto L746 direction Irdning and after 500 m turn right onto B75 direction Irdning. Now follow the signs "Aigen".

By train


Use the train to Liezen: Liezen can be reached via the Deutsche Bahn/Österreichische Bundesbahn IC connection. For timetable inquiries see Deutsche Bahn.

By plane


Use the plane to the airport of Linz (LNZ):

 

We aim to offer transfer from/to Linz airport for the flight departing at 13:30 from Frankfurt (arriving in Linz at 14:30, LH 3524) and the flight departing from Linz at 15:20 (arriving in Frankfurt at 16:30, LH 3525). We regret but we cannot offer airport transfer at other times or from other other airports.

Lufthansa provides 3 flights per day from Frankfurt (FRA), Austrian Airlines provides 3 flights per day from Düsseldorf (DUS)
