The Winter School is a part of the training programme of the graduate research training group 757 "Eicosanoids", and is held sometimes between January and March. 2007 it was in Obergurgl too. |

The scientific program will start on Saturday morning 9:00, March 8
and will end on Monday evening, March 10. There will be student
lectures that focus on recent scientific achievements and overview
lectures held by senior scientist. The sessiosns will cover
- arachidonic acid metabolism (cyclooxygenase and lipoxygenase pathways)
- CYP-mediated arachidonic acid metabolism (EETs)
- nitric oxide pathway
- sphingolipid metabolism
- proteomics and lipidomics
- structural biology of the eicosanoid-related enzymes and receptors
