Mandatory for non-German speaking FIRST PhD students

German courses at varying levels (from A1-Beginners) are offered by the Goethe Graduate Academy GRADE, see check here and contact the GRADE office at or 069-798 49450 for further information.

Intensive German Language Training

The GRADE regularly offers German language courses for its new international candidates. All candidates without German knowledge applying for admission to the GRADE will have the opportunity to join a German language course for beginners, preparing them to pass the German language test on level A1 of the European Framework.
